Jessica was born and raised in El Paso, studied at the University of Texas at Austin, and after that became a third grade teacher for four years. It was during that time, she developed a love for photography. She photographed her students during the school year, items and places of interest during travel, and eventually her first daughter, Mia, to better learn the craft. All these years later, now in Houston, she has developed an eye for gorgeous light, angles, and how to create beauty within every image.
